Two of Clavier-Werke’s advanced piano students will be performing solo recitals at Steinway Piano Gallery, in the month of July. James Mohn, student of Russell Reed, will perform works by Schubert, Bach and Liszt on Saturday, July 7th at 3pm. Another student of Dr. Reed’s, Joseph Asfouri, will perform works by Beethoven, Scarlatti, Rameau and Schubert-Liszt on Saturday, July 14th at 3pm. Steinway Piano Gallery is located at 12980 N. Hwy. 183 in Austin, 78750. This free event is open to families and people of all ages. We hope you can join us!
Clavier-Werke School of Music is hosting a free classical concert to benefit hurricane victims at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 1500 N. Capital of Texas Hwy., on Sunday, September 24th at 3pm. There will be performances by teachers and students. A performance program is available here for viewing. The concert is free and the Austin Disaster Relief Network will be onsite to take donations. 100% of the donations will go to the ADRN. Please RSVP here to attend this event.

A congratulations is in order!!! Sophomore James Mohn won 2nd prize this past weekend at the 2017 Young Artist Piano Competition at Texas State University. This is a very prestigious competition and a huge accomplishment. Congratulations, James!!!
